"When it rains, it pours" - Falcon
This is just one of the great instances why I'm grateful having a vehicle and a nearby office from my residence. As we all know incessant rain is the most efficient tool that cause enormous floods and creating massive traffic jams on urban roads and again tonight, most of us were victims and witnesses at the same time. It is a clearly accepted phenomenon Filipinos have no choice to endure starting from the month of June until the coming of holiday season.
While on the road as I passed along the EDSA, I felt pity for those sea of people who got stranded and having a hard time catching for a ride. As I passed along I remember those days back in college where I was on the same set-up (Damn I just missed my college life!). Luckily while stuck in traffic, tuning in to Boys Night Out just saved me from displeasure and becoming annoyed from the said plight (Yeah Men!). Well, everything was just smooth sailing not until the fact that I don't have an umbrella so apparently I was a bit wet before getting in and after leaving in the car.
On a deeper context, the bottom line of this blog is that I'm grateful not because of my convenient experience but the premise of "gratefulness" lies on the notion that no one from my beloved family, friends and love ones had experience an awful one and remain unharmed. Thanked God.
