It’s more than just the problem of not following a mere traffic rule. Rather, it’s about the inappropriate use of the word stoplight. Not because the epitome color is red doesn't mean it should be called such. Remember, it’s a road device whose sole purpose is to indicate the flow of traffic through conveying three (3) different commands. Apparently, the use of the said term had inevitably became the status quo since time immemorial.
